In this crazy, highly-debated and often confusing real estate market, it can be hard to know what to do to be in a great spot once the smoke clears. Do we flip homes, acquire commercial properties, or do we look to a niche that’s recently faced some challenges?
My guest has been faced with this decision a couple of times - starting in 2008, when he entered a melting real estate market as a former teacher. Today, he manages over $100 million in real estate, and he has found strategies to raise money, buy low and reduce risk in this market.
How did he raise money when he first got into real estate? What long-term asset class should we be looking into right now before the market turns?
In this episode, I’m joined by the CEO of Venture D Properties and the host of Pillars of Wealth Creation, Todd Dexheimer. We talk about getting his start in real estate, leaving teaching, and why he’s buying up assisted living properties.
